The *Gray Hairstreak (Strymon melinus)* is a common and widespread butterfly across all of the continental United States and southward to northern South America. The first four shots shown here were taken in May, 2003, in Real Co., Texas, with a Canon EOS 10D and EF 180mm F/3.5 Macro.
