| The Funereal Duskywing (Erynnis funeralis) is a widespread skipper of the south central and southwest United States and Mexico. The dull one shown in the top image shown here was in Austin, Travis Co., Texas, in March, 2008. The shot was taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark III and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender. This species is very similar to the Mournful Duskywing (E. tristis). |  |
