The Desert Iguana (Dispsosaurus dorsalis) occurs in parts of the Sonoran and Mojave Deserts of Arizona and California as well as Mexico. The first shot shown here shows a captive individual at the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, in Tucson, Arizona, in May, 2008. This shot was taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark III and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens.
