| The Great Southern White (Ascia monuste) is a mostly coastal species of the southeastern United States. The species sometimes does wander well inland. The first 2 shots here were taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark III and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender and Canon 580 flash at Sabine Pass, Jefferson Co., Texas, in October, 2009. | ![]() |
