The Autumn Meadowhawk (Sympetrum vicinum) is a late season dragonfly which occurs across much of the United States. The common name of the species used to be Yellow-legged Meadowhawk. The teneral shown shown here was photographed in June, 2003, at Balcones Canyonlands N.W.R., Burnet Co., Texas.
