The Slender Bluet (Enallagma traviatum) is a pond damselfly of the eastern United States. Its range extends westward to east Texas which is where the first 4 shots on this page were taken in May, 2009. These images were taken with a Canon EOS 50D and an EF 70-200mm F/2.8 L IS lens and 2X extender and 580 flash in the Sam Houston National Forest, San Jacinto Co., Texas. The shot shown here shows a pair in tandem. |
