| The Red-bordered Metalmark (Caria ino) is a widespread and fairly common species of the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas. The first 5 shots on this page were taken at Santa Ana N.W.R., Hidalgo Co., Texas, in October, 2008. One of the below shots shows part of the underwing pattern.
