The Eastern Tailed-Blue (Everes comyntas) is a very common blue across much of the eastern United States. It also occurs in some areas of the western U.S., but is much less common there. The first image on this page was taken just south of Murfreesboro, Rutherford Co., Tennessee, in June, 2010, with a Canon EOS 1D Mark III and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender and Canon 580 flash. | |
