The Brown Longtail (Urbanus procne) is a common speciality of the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas. The first 7 shots on this page of several different individuals, were taken in October, 2008, at Santa Ana N.W.R., Hidalgo Co., Texas. These shots were taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark III and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender and Canon 580 flash.
